Borrow Wisdom is run by Lucky Ranasinghe and his team at MADITECH. It is part of the portfolio of products he builds.

The idea is simple: when you face an unfamiliar decision, direct experience can help you see the questions you have not thought to ask. We help you find someone who has done the thing you are considering.

How matching works today

You send a brief about your question, the experience you need, and your timing. A person on Lucky’s team reads it, looks for a suitable match, and checks whether they are available to talk.

We reply by email with who it is, a proposed time and a quote. Nothing is booked until you accept in your email reply. Nothing is charged by this site, and sending a request commits you to nothing.

New, and matched by hand

We are a new concierge service. We do not have a public directory of mentors or experts yet. We find people per request rather than asking you to choose from a list.

We cannot guarantee a match. The aim is a relevant conversation with someone whose experience fits your question. Their perspective can inform your decision; the decision stays yours.
